            Mandi Johnson

 

Mandi Johnson is an AFAA certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Both of her degrees were earned at FSU, Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Social Work.

She specializes in educating beginners about exercise and strategies to attain overall health for each individual. Having a background in gymnastics, cheerleading, football and dance, she has innovative routines that can get anyone moving. She has no particular favorite exercise, it just has to be different and challenging! Her focus is on complete wellness, which includes mental health.

            Sara Groff

 

Sara Groff is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UNF and her Master's in Social Work from FSU. She is currently pursuing her Ph. D. in Social Work.

 

Being involved in dance most of her life, Sara enjoys incorporating movement to sound. She also enjoys exercising outdoors and trying new things. In her research, she has been focusing on ways to help individuals with disordered eating and body image issues. She is a strong believer in taking the focus away from weight and eating and putting it on exercise and health. Focusing on strength and overall health can help shift the focus in the right direction –towards creating a healthy, sustainable, lifestyle.

 

 

            Megan Duncan

 

Megan Duncan is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. She has her Bachelor degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing her Master degree in Social Work.

 

Some sports Megan has participated in are gymnastics, weight-lifting, and track (shotput & discus). Her favorite exercise is high intensity group exercise. Megan strives to help others become not only physically fit, but to become healthy as a whole.

 

FIT Advocates are Focused on overall health, provide Individualized plans, and are cross-Trained as social workers and personal trainers. FIT Advocates are unique in that they work hard to meet their clients where they are at and help them form goals that are unique to their specific needs. We advocate for complete fitness = fit mind, fit body, fit life.
